MNP Partners with SCF to Launch New Accounting Scholarship Fund

The Sudbury Community Foundation (SCF) is pleased to announce the launch of the Sudbury MNP Accounting Scholarship Fund. This new Fund was established to support third and fourth-year accounting students attending a Northern Ontario college or university as they complete their studies and prepare to enter the profession.

"As a partner group rooted in Sudbury, and as a firm that is national in scope and local in focus, we recognize the important role Laurentian University and Cambrian College play in shaping the future of our community,” shared René Deroy, Partner, Taxation Services, adding, "Through the Sudbury MNP Accounting Scholarship Fund, we're proud to support students at these institutions, helping to reduce barriers to education and investing in the next generation of accounting and business professionals in our region."

Applications for the Sudbury MNP Scholarship Fund open April 1, 2026. Eligible students who meet the scholarship criteria, demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, and community engagement are invited to apply.

"MNP is an established leader in supporting business and community development not only in Greater Sudbury, but across the country. This Fund will exist in perpetuity, supporting promising accounting students in our community. We are grateful for MNP's generosity and thankful for this tremendous investment that will have a positive impact on many lives," shared Kyle McCall, Board President of the SCF.
